I have been beavering away out here in the woods for 23 years now..Mwnci is well established as a go-to for bands looking to get away and concentrate on their craft.
We just installed a digitally-controlled, fully analogue patch bay. Everything’s connected up like a standard patch bay but controlled from the computer. Opening up a whole new world of creative possibilities.

I’ve set the studio up to record live. Get everyone in the same room and sonically separate the noisy stuff. There’s 2 main live rooms and a selection of booths - all connected by line of sight. Its all about the vibes recording live!
The recording setup is based around the API 500 series format and a digitally controlled analogue patchbay. This hybrid approach allows for speed and creativity
- Try different preamps with the click of a mouse
- duplicate a hardware signal path - Record a clean version and one with hardware effects
- Duplicate the output of a vocal chain, send it through 4 guitar amps at the same time, route an output through 20 compressors and 8 guitar pedals, switch the preamp.. then switch between that and your complex drum setup with one click.. if you wanted to that is..!
